The USIG Team just got back from competing at our first ever Ultrasound Challenge! It was a great experience meeting our ultrasound counterparts at Ohio State and spending the day with other medical students who are passionate about ultrasound. Forty-five students competed in the challenge, so competition was fierce! Corey Warf took 2nd place in the vascular access event and tied with Jennifer Cotton for 3rd place in the Pathology Identification event (also know as QA)! Overall we had a great time hanging out with the OSU Team in their ultrasound training lab complete with 11 medical student dedicated ultrasound machines. Be sure to check out this video of the event http://www.magisto.com/video/LAINJAELCjI3AgVhCzE. Congratulations to everyone that competed! You all did a great job! We couldn’t be prouder of our first UK Ultrasound Challenge Team!!
